I loved it! It keeps my hair super straight for a long time, which is difficult for me because I have a lot of hair and natural waves. This is my second time using it and it didn’t disappoint! I used to be a stylist (and I say “used to” because it wasn’t my passion, just a job), so I’ve noticed a few things that give me better results: 1) Wash your hair and let it dry completely (I wash my hair the day before and apply leave-in and heat protectant the day before using the brush). “Don’t use heat protectant while using the brush because it can burn your hair.” 2) Section your hair and use small strands (if you don’t want to pass it multiple times, make sure it’s hot enough and on a small section go slowly) — this helps avoid multiple passes and burning your hair. 3) Depending on how often you use it, try using oil on the ends daily so you can avoid dryness or burnt ends from constant use. 4) When you’re done, let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes before storing it so you prevent the cord from overheating or getting damaged. I recently bought this TYMO hair straightener, and after using it, I felt I had to leave a review. It has quickly become one of my favorite hair tools. I have 3A/3B curly hair, and it works extremely well for me. It smooths and straightens my curls without tugging or pulling, and it’s very easy to use. I really like that it offers multiple temperature settings, which makes it easy to adjust the heat depending on how dry or thick my hair feels. Another big plus is, unlike other straighteners I’ve tried, it doesn’t make any annoying noise while heating or styling. Oh my god! Straightening my curly hair has been such a struggle. I lose so much hair trying to tame it. I didn’t believe this product worked for extremely dry and curly hair, until I did the research and decided to give it a try. For the price it’s AMAZING! For the speed — you wait very little time for it to heat up. It works so well that it saves me time. Doing my hair used to take 3 1/2 hours from wash to straighten — but not anymore. This tool has a very sturdy weight, meaning well made, yet not too heavy so your arm doesn’t get tired. The cord length is perfect if you’re doing this in your living room watching Netflix. And it makes my 4C hair bone straight without burning my scalp! So to the girls with 4C hair — I’m a BELIEVER!!!

So Far Loveee and So Easy!!! I don’t leave reviews so Please read if considering this item. I had to write something and go as far as posting pics on this portable curling wand. It’s Genius!! I love that it just grabs the hair hit a button and it does all the work! So fast and so easy!! Please note I don’t ever curl my hair except when I go get it done. I’ve tried but can’t ever get it right or find something that’s fast and so easy. I don’t have a lot of time with a young son work and day to day but I always love it when I get my hair done and my son always compliments on how “pretty mommy looks and how nice my hair looks” so I gave this a shot and Wow! I like that it talks to you (even tho that might get old after a while) but it tells u when battery is low, how much charge it has, how long before it shuts off, when charging is complete, even says “styling complete”. I actually had fun either way this! I like to have my hair look nice but I am usually the type to wash brush throw in some spray and just Go out the door. This was different I tried it and so easy. The arrows for direction basically tell you which way to curl based of the side of the head your doing. The back is always the hardest but this was ways. I was certain my hair would get caught and stuck but it glided right out! In my pictures I did tight curls with no product. Even tried it with Wet hair (don’t really suggest but it did work). I touched up pieces I could see I missed but just putting the wand there and hit the button. I did not take time to section off hair. Has great instructions and recommends 1” pieces but I just grabbed pieces even chunks and still curled them. You will see the progression. Starting with wet hair then went tight then next day went tight again but honestly I don’t think I needed to. I tend to toss my hair with my hand a lot (nervous habit) but they stayed so far. I sleep on satin pillowcase and low ponytail or bun. So far so good! **Only thing is since it’s portable I really wish there was a carrying case as it does get hot and I could see myself on the run wanting to do some touch ups in the car line and can plug right in to the car if needed but gets too hot to just set down. Thinking of a carrying idea although it does talk to you and tells you when you have 10% left an can feel it to start cooling down. Last thing I hope this thing lasts! I have been so pleased and I could see myself Finally!!!… even doing a few strands or my ponytail really fast and it looks like I am one of those people that just left the salon or had even 30 minutes to do their hair I don’t have that kind of time. 1st day I used it it took me about 60% of the charge and about 20 minutes but doesn’t have to take that long even with my thick fine hair. So far genio is idea IF there was a carrying case for the car or travel**
